The Italian Time Attack Championship is getting ready to experience a 2024 season full of adrenaline, with the hunt for the fastest lap ready to unleash unique emotions. With the ACI Sport license and the organization of Andrea Scorrano's GF2A Motorsport SSD, the twelfth edition promises to be full of new features and with a top-level calendar.
After the extraordinary records broken last year, numerous competitors have already confirmed their participation, anticipating a sold-out of participants. Registrations for the championship are already open, but for the individual stages there will be only a few slots available for wild-cards.
The calendar will consist of six events, all at racetracks of great charm and prestige. The season will start for the first time in Austria, at the Red Bull Ring, on April 28, followed by the Misano World Circuit on June 2. After the summer break, the Vallelunga Circuit will welcome the drivers on September 7/8, followed by the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano Adriatico on September 22. The Mugello Circuit will be the setting for the fifth event, where the champions of the 2024 season will be crowned. In addition, a round will take place at the 'Enzo e Dino Ferrari' racetrack in Imola, reserved exclusively for authorized categories (with a date yet to be defined).
